Look &#8212; the phones, toasters, blenders, sewing machines, etc., all have a design that would be perfectly at home in any living quarters from 1950 to the present. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"681\" width=\"726\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/appliances.jpg\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/appliances.jpg\" style=\"cursor: -moz-zoom-in;\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/appliances2.jpg\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/appliances2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>All items in the set are charming and useful, but I&#8217;m especially enamored of the fan\/hair dryer set and the space heater\/hot water bottle set. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/fan2.jpg\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/fan2.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/heat1.jpg\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/heat1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From the early French Sundries set, I also like the portable typewriter, which has a movable platen!&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/type1.jpg\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/type1.jpg\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/type2.jpg\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/misc16\/rements\/type2.jpg\" \/><br \/>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I like almost every item in Rement&#8217;s 2004 set, Vintage Home Appliances, but these things command ridiculous prices on Ebay.
