We ended up capturing thrift horrors in Witch City Consignment and Thrift Store, displayed here for your delectation. <!--more The sight is seared onto my retinas forever...Oh wait...that's just the afterimage of the lime green blouse.--><\/p>\n<p>Do you need a poorly capitalized, completely patternless, &quot;inspirational&quot; sampler in the American <strike>Primitive<\/strike> Pathetic style? It was stitched with angst, rage and bitter, bitter hunger pangs [also green thread].<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1132.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1132.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Not really horrific, but amusing, this is my mother-in-law in resin teddy bear form!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1135.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1135.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re have a sale on misbegotten hybrid freaks! <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1137.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1137.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The day Little Wall-Eyed Tommy went insane&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1138.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1138.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8230;and tried to eat his sister.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1139.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1139.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Ol&#8217; Hulk has a touch of constipation, I see.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1141.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1141.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At first, he appears to be a cheerful, innocent tyke, with cherubic dimples and sparkling eyes. Look closely, though, and you can see the barely suppressed terror on the point of breaking through his rigid smile of enforced gaiety. What evil so troubles the child&#8217;s soul?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1143.JPG\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/thrift\/witchcity\/100_1143.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know, but I betcha it has something to do with that giraffe.
