Besides writing and shooting a doll photostory about the Stupid Bags Collection<\/a> [part I], I also worked on a few other things.<\/p>\n

I tried to use Obitsu 24 knee joints to articulate the elbows of an MGA Rainbow Poopsie Surprise 14″ doll. It did not work as planned, so no pics.<\/p>\n

I gave my Very Gay Bratz [officially known as the Pride 2022 Jimmy Paul x Bratz collaboration by MGA] their final looks. Roxxie is on the left, Nevra on the right. Both of them came with bulky rainbow fur pieces [Nevra’s coat is lurking in the background] and some other cool accessories [like their QUEER AND UNAPOLOGETIC and I CAN’T EVEN THINK STRAIGHT signs], as well as a body with rainbow swirlies on it. I want to use the swirlies for backdrop pieces. The dolls also came with floor-length hair that weighed them down, so I gave them haircuts. I used to hate Bratz when they first came out, but I appreciate their aesthetic better now. I think Roxxie and Nevra are pretty cute. The GAYNESS helps.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I’m still on my lime green\/neon green kick, so I added some neon green to some MGA Shadow High Ash Silverstone pants. The neon green panels came from a dust bag from a pair of MGA Mini Accessories Studio shuz. With the legs extended, the pants now fit Anna!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Recently I got one of the Fresh Dolls Fresh and Fierce Collection, the licensed action figure of Shuri from Black Panther II: Wakanda Forever!!! I love the curvy, muscular body, but the lack of bicep and thigh swivel joints disappointed me. Today I added upper arm swivels with my usual method of slicing through the biceps, drilling holes in both pieces, then sinking a wooden rod in the hole. Tape and\/or plastic wrap ensure a tight fit. The added swivels function excellently, but they look unsightly. That’s why Ketch is covering their upper arms. Ketch wears a Mattel Barbie Looks blouse, a patchwork skirt by DollsAhoy, and MGA Rainbow High Vanessa Tempo boots.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
