MGA puts out many cute little food packages in their Make It Mini Miniverse line of approximately 1:6 scale miniatures. Recently they came out with the Nature II series which included herbs that could be potted in miniature cans. As much as I like 1:6 scale fudz in general, I am a sucker for 1:6 scale canned goods, so I immediately got those sets with herbs and their tin can planters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The miniature cans in the Miniverse Nature II series include tomatoes, corn, peaches, and cherries, each with a unique label filled with the details [including amusing nutritional information like “100% FUN” that the line is known for]. Here are some closeups of the fronts and the backs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I, of course, wanted to use the cans for food, not plants, so I added some tinfoil tops of the cans and made this photostory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Background: The Magister is the self-designated cook in the house. He also has a fascination with culinary innovations like instant gelatin and the microwave. He likes to make gelatin salads, much to the dismay of everyone else in his family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was this an excuse to make silly puns? Do you even need to ask?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
