Thanks, banma! Sculpted for Volks SD17/SD13 boys, this is a single-jointed arm just begging to be painted with metallic accents.

I don't want to use Luna's default 16mm eyes for Lura; I think they will make her look too young. She will have one organic eye. I have 2 choices for it. One possibility is one of these 14mm Volks metallic Dollfie eyes. Thanks, Andrea! It's really hard to see the color because the porch railing, on which I'm leaning, has red undertones, as does my skin. :p However, they are a pale pearlescent pink.

My other option for Lura's organic eye is a Soom 14mm eye with pale pink iris and lilac pupil. Thanks, OctoberAnna! August, my BuddyDoll April winking, shows off the other one.

I'm not sure what I want to do for a wig. I'm definitely keeping the light, iridescent, ethereal palette, though. I hopped on this one in a trade, though, because, as you may be able to tell, I have a thing for pink. *cough* This is a shoulder-length bob with bangs [thanks, Andrea!], but I wonder if it will allow enough of Lura's wingy ears to show.

Speaking of wingy ears, I have purchased a pound of Aves Apoxie Sculpt to create them. I can't wait till her head gets here!

In terms of things I do not have illustrations for, I have made 2 decisions. First, I collected some owner pictures of Soom Amphibel's wingy ears. Thanks, Cap'nH! I have decided to model Lura's wingy ears after Amphibel's, which are surprisingly high and broad. Soom Clozel's wingy ears just don't look that exciting to me.

Second, I decided not to put Lura on an Iplehouse EID woman body. vermont chick brought her Iplehouse EID Soo to meetup yesterday, where I put the body through its paces, meaning that I poked at it lightly, and it fell over. :/ No matter how much I love the voluminous boobs on the EID woman body, I will not drop that much money on a body that cannot sit solidly without back support. I'm also not enamored of the gappy, unattractive knee joints. Worst of all, the elbow joints require lots of pulling and shoving to get the "peanut" out of the upper arm so that the arm can bend more than 90 degrees. Too much work! No thanks! Well, thanks to vermont chick for supplying experimentation fodder.

I have acquired a pair of Soom Galena lower legs and talons in grey resin.
