{"id":3032,"date":"2013-03-26T20:49:00","date_gmt":"2013-03-27T00:49:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oddpla.net\/modernwizard\/?p=3032"},"modified":"2015-06-22T12:57:01","modified_gmt":"2015-06-22T16:57:01","slug":"messing-with-miniatures","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/oddpla.net\/modernwizard\/2013\/03\/26\/messing-with-miniatures\/","title":{"rendered":"Messing with miniatures"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemaxcollection.com\/\">Lemax Collection<\/a> makes several different sets of little decorative tabletop resin fantasy villages with [all white] people, vehicles, buildings, animals, plants, etc. They have a &quot;Victorian&quot; village [in quotes because it doesn&#8217;t look Victorian to me], a &quot;coastal Massachusetts&quot; village [ditto], a Halloween village, Santa&#8217;s village, etc., etc. Am I the only one who thinks it would be hilarious to cross-pollinate elements from one set [mostly the Halloween one] with others?<\/p>\n<p>Think of the possibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grim Reaper stalking daredevil skiers [or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemaxcollection.com\/detail-Theme-General-Products-Girl-Scout-Parade+-Set-Of-9-29-2893.aspx\">the Girl Scout parade]<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Skeleton mariachi band baking up Victorian carolers<\/li>\n<li>Killer clown mobile home <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lemaxcollection.com\/detail-Theme-Spooky-Town-Collection-Killer-Clown-Mobile-Home-28-3365.aspx\">[no really!]<\/a> lurking at the edge of Santaville<\/li>\n<li>Santa&#8217;s Wonderland sign in front of a little cemetery<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then again, these ideas are coming from someone who thinks that vampire + 1989 + ice cream = cute, so your mileage may vary. :p<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: smaller;\">This entry was originally posted at <a href = \"http:\/\/modernwizard.dreamwidth.org\/1488765.html\">http:\/\/modernwizard.dreamwidth.org\/1488765.html<\/a>.
