I decided tonight that the default faceup did not fit with my concept of Anna&#8217;s character. She&#8217;s perpetually tired, so she definitely needs dark circles around her eyes. I used my best friends &#8212; brown and black watercolor pencils &#8212; to age her. I also darkened her indistinct nostrils.
