I accidentally cut it against the grain of the fur so that the hair sticks up straight, but I decided that vertical hair suits Cola&#8217;s energetic personality. I also tried shortening her hair with about 85% success. Here&#8217;s what a wig made of the uncut 3&quot; grey looks like on Doctor Z [whose hair was also cut from the fur so that it is pointing <em>down]<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><br \/><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/drz\/redux\/2.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And here&#8217;s Cola with her anti-grav hair:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/cola\/hair\/1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The next time i want to cut a faux fur wig short, I&#8217;m using the clippers I use to shave my head. Come to think of it, that would be the easiest way to make Isabel&#8217;s real hair, i.e., what she grows from her head.
