Basically I will be fusing the upper arm swivel joint and transferring the swivel to the elbow joint.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/sylvia\/bodymods\/02.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1) FUSE upper arm swivel with Aves Apoxie Sculpt.<\/p>\n<p>2) CUT upper arm above elbow joint to desired length.<\/p>\n<p>3) CORE lower arm and upper arm with Dremel.<\/p>\n<p>4) SINK coated wire in lower arm, secured with hot glue or more Apoxie Sculpt. <\/p>\n<p>The wired lower arm can then be friction-fit into the upper arm socket, with hot glue acting as fill if the fit needs to be tighter.<\/p>\n<p>This process represents much the same series of mods that I did on Barrett, with two differences. First, &nbsp;Barrett had no separate upper arm swivels to fuse. Second, I did not shorten his upper arms. Same principle, though.
