As I <a href=\"http:\/\/modernwizard.dreamwidth.org\/1466062.html\">predicted<\/a> when I first heard about Steenkamp&#8217;s death, her killer got away with it because he&#8217;s a straight, cis, white, athletic superstar with the added bonus of having a disability, so, as an inspiring example of humanity overcoming wretched odds, he couldn&#8217;t possibly do something as vile as killing another human being.
