I will NOT be storing these bristles down. Anyway, I got out my supplies&#8230;<\/p>\n<div class=\"ljcut\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/will\/shading2\/IMG_0001.JPG\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/will\/shading2\/IMG_0002.JPG\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Then I shaved some pastels with my craft knife onto my technologically advanced palette:<\/p>\n<div class=\"ljcut\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.oddpla.net\/blog\/dolls\/will\/shading2\/IMG_0003.JPG\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Then I made a mess all over Will&#8217;s face, putting some brown around his nose and on his philtrum and, most significantly, a thin layer of purple shadows [see unmixed blue + red above] under his eyes. Here&#8217;s a harshly lit shot that shows the additions.
