[Not sure why it&#8217;s termed a <em>velocipede,<\/em> incidentally, as a velocipede, by definition, runs on human power created by pedal pushing. There are no pedals on that thing.]<\/p>\n<p>The von Sauerbronn-Davis machine looks like a bad idea on wheels, especially with the user&#8217;s seat directly over the freakin&#8217; boiler! Nevertheless, the design, with two large wheels in front and the smaller swiveling wheel in the back, appeals to me.
