Decided to make Jake’s fats without extensive body hacking, as I did for Nevaeh. For Jake, I just used a Takara CG female action figure body that I had reduced the breasts on. I wrapped several layers of felt around the middle and glued in there loosely enough to allow the under-bust joint to work.

I created the illusion of fats on Jake with baggy, layered clothes.Then I gathered the trio together and fussed with hair. The bright orange hat certainly fit with the general aesthetic of dorklets, but something still wasn’t right.

Eventually I gave Nevaeh the purple hair and Jake the black hair. Jake also got eyebrows, of course. I overpainted Nevaeh’s eyes brown as well as Jake’s and gave Libby some handmade eyes because her specially purchased resin ones were not visible beneath her lids.
