New set: Libby’s room

I moved Mini Silencitx and Mini Ethancitx and took down the mini dorklets’ play area set in favor of erecting a set of Libby’s room on top of my dresser.

First picture shows setting up in progress. Subsequent pictures show final lay-out after adding the corner area by her bed, mostly for the magnetic boards to hang more stuff on her walls.

Notes on Libby’s room: This is not a fully accurate version of Libby’s room, mostly because I put up some things on her walls that I personally like to look at. The lemon treeantique trade cards of the kid with the doll aren’t accurate, but the creepy cemetery wall hanging, the sticker posters of kids, the I LOVE VT license plate, the miscellaneous rainbows, and the sarcastic motivational posters are accurate.

One of my favorite parts of 1:6 scale sets is putting in unexpected random items that somehow add realism. In the case of Libby’s room, these items include traffic cones, modern art reproduction, party blowers, spray bottle, and headlamp.
