I want to write fiction, doll-less short stories, novellas, maybe even novels. What do I do with my current projects, LHF and Mary’s diary? How do I do what I want?

maybe write short shorts, or set aside time to do stuff other than LHF and Mary’s Diary.
Maybe make a schedule, perhaps, with time allotted to your main projects each week and then a space of free time to play with other stuff.
I read this post a few hours ago, and let it mull. Really…you’re not beholden to anyone but yourself for your current projects, are you? If you want to do other things, then do those other things. Life goes on and all that; it’s better when you enjoy that life.
I’d be sad to see something like LHF go, but I also understand when one needs a break to pursue other things. So completely understood.
Having said that, I wish I had a good answer to your question. I’m bad at figuring that out myself. :/
I think you can just “leave” your doll writings as they are now. Return to them when/if you want to. LHF is your fun/play project, hmmm? You’ve established the characters and settings, etc. You can return to them later, if you decide to.
Good luck with your new stories!
