We attended the Northeast Street Rod Nationals at the Champlain Valley Fairgrounds in Essex Junction, VT on Saturday. I took ~200 pictures, mostly for Janna, all of which I will not reproduce here. Instead, I will focus on my favorite part of the show: customized scooters by AK Rods & Customs of Londonderry, NH, run by Andy and Keith Lefebvre.
Janna says that this scooter has the profile of a 1955-1957 Chevrolet coupe.
Look at its little engine!
Janna says that this scooter has the profile of a mid-1940s touring car.
The red one is based on a 1933 Plymouth 5-window business coupe, a larger matching version of which also attended. The scooter even had a little nitrous oxide canister in the back, just like the real version!
