Oh yeah, and some cars too… :p
1941 Packard Club Coupe, 8 cylinder, Peter Lief, Milton, MA. Liked the hood ornament. The rest of the car wasn’t bad either. :p
1957 Chevy Belair, 8 cylinder, Dick Josler, South Stratford, VT. Space Age rockets on the front and a wavy grille — super keen!
1926 Model T Ford, 4 cylinder, Andrew Davis, Williston, VT.
1955 Ford Country Sedan, 8 cylinder, Carroll Bean, Bradford, VT. Lovely palette, both inside and out.
1968 Buick Sports Wagon, 8 cylinder, Kevin and Christine Dewyea, Barre, VT. Neat twin headlights and a cool blue interior scheme.
1934 Mercedes 500K Convertible, 8 cylinder, Kevin and Christine Dewyea, Barre, VT. You know how the term "trunk" [for storage in a car] came about because early cars did indeed have trunks strapped to their rears? Apparently the term "horn" came about because, at one time, cars really had horns.
1929 Plymouth U Touring Car, 4 cylinder, Wendall and Mary Noble, Milton, VT. When we were ready to go home, we approached the information desk, looking for a golf cart to transport us back to the parking lot. Mary Noble said that she couldn’t locate us a golf cart, but that her husband would drive us back to our car in theirs. So we ended the Stowe show with a ride in a classic car — a truly memorable and exciting conclusion to our day! ^_^
