I was wracking my brains, wondering what to do with this glass case that Natalunasans gave me. Then I backed it in brown paper and glued some mechanical innards from a toy into it. The fidget cube is the controller [which is a bad idea when the Spymaster fidgets with it and accidentally activates the Device!]. This one is much simpler than my main Device, but it’s elegant in its simplicity.I’m making a computing center from this playscale kitchen set of a microwave, a backsplash, and a dishwasher. I haven’t decided what pieces to use yet, so here’s how it looked earlier this weekend. From left to right, top to bottom: jar of rocks, rotating fan, windup CRT TV [from Burger King?!], hinged metal box pendant decorated with gears [in microwave], Acme computer magnet, another hinged metal box pendant with a glass window [leaning against backsplash], spatula eraser, keyboard eraser, Rement compass, music box innards [in washer], metal phone.
