Megan Meehan, a character from Zombieville, has been through several bodies and styles over the years. The only constant remains her head, a Mattel Barbie Hispanic Sterling Silver Rose with a magnificent purple and white cone of hair and some facepaint enhanced by me. Here she is in her current form.
This time around, Megan is on a Spin Master Liv body with hands from an unknown doll and feet from an American Girl Girls of Many Lands doll [so that her feet are large enough for her footwear]. One of these days I’ll give her more flexion at the elbows. The centerpiece of this outfit, a burgundy velvet skirt with gold braid trim and gold satin lining, comes from American Girl Girl of Many Lands Isabel, an Elizabethan character. I removed a center panel from the skirt so that it’s more of a decorative overskirt. Underneath Megan has Mattel Barbie Made to Move black leggings. Teeshirt is from MGA Shadow High Ash Silverstone, jacket from RH Sunny Madison, socks [barely shown] from RH Marisa Golding, and sandals from RH Lily Yamamoto. Shirt was initially going to be a temporary piece until I acquired something more matching, but I like the astronaut; it ties in with the celestial motif on the rear of the jacket.
The geta echo the pale purple of her hair.
This jacket, part of Sunny’s first outfit, remains one of my favorite RH pieces of all time. The yellow and white make it such a light, cheerful piece, and I really like the sun and moon. My running joke is that I call them lesbians, since the facial features of both are drawn in a stereotypically feminine way. I really like that the RH Mini Accessories Studio purse for Sunny features the same design.
