We didn’t do a lot because I was recovering from my exhausting travel. I slept late, wrote peacefully in the morning, and napped in the mid-afternoon.
@natalunasans ordered some of the latest construct-your-own miniature resin crafts from MGA: the Make It Mini Cafe series 2 surprise balls. We opened a total of six and swapped bits that we didn’t want. Fortunately we got no doubles. Also we wanted everything that we did uncover!
I really like the can of soup with alphabet letters. I want to do a photostory with the dorklets spelling out messages in their soup. MGA adds humorous and realistic details to the miniature food packages, like brand names, logos, and [most entertaining of all] nutrition information.
I gave @natalunasans two of the ice cream scoops from the Creamsicle Float. I have some latex to make molds, and I plan to make molds of the ice cream scoops using heat mold plastic, which can be colored in different colors. Then I can make photostories of my dolls scooping ice cream and dropping it on the floor.
The last picture in the mini gallery below is not part of the Creamsicle Float set. It’s from the Unicorn Popcorn set, but I figured that my dolls could always use some strangely colored snacks.
I unwrapped a set including tortilla chips, cheese sauce, salsa, and a serving platter to make nachos. I gave @natalunasans most of the set because I already have a plate of nachos. However, my plate of nachos has all the chips and toppings molded as a single piece, so we customized some of the loose tortilla chips from the MGA set. We used some yellow dimensional craft paint to make cheese sauce and some red dimensional paint to make salsa. The salsa supplied by MGA consisted of minuscule white, red, and green cubes, so we sprinkled some on the red dimensional paint to add veggies into the salsa.
