We got up early and had a leisurely morning, leaving very early for lunch at Spice in Fort Mill, a pan-Asian place. We shared kimchi fries [crispy French fries with kimchi and spicy mayonnaise on top] for an appetizer. I had a bulgogi burger, which was a cheeseburger with kimchi and spicy mayonnaise. I could have used more kimchi on the top, as the cheese overpowered it, but it was still decent. Nata had drunken noodles with tofu.
After that we went to the Super Target in Fort Mill, where I confirmed that I do in fact want the Our Generation greenhouse set. Even though it’s made for 18″ dolls, it’s really undersize for them, so, with slight modification, it will be perfect for 1:6ers.
I got to the airport about two and a half hours early and went through TSA screening, aka useless security theater that provokes TSA agents to feel me up anywhere I sweat. When I flew out of Burlington, the agent had to feel up between my tits. When I flew out of Charlotte, the agent had to feel up my crotch. Has the TSA and their preflight bodily invasions ever accomplished anything useful in the last 22 years?! [No.]
I took some photos of scenic Gate E29 at Douglas Airport.
The flight boarded on time. However, taxiing down the runway took a while, as there were planes in line ahead of us. Nevertheless, we scooted northward quickly and even arrived early in Burlington. It was 92 degrees F [a temperature that receives heat advisories and hazardous weather outlooks in these parts] and humid — so not much different than the nastiness I left in South Carolina. We have more haze up here, though. Nevertheless I’m very relieved to be home.
