We find out what Ethancitx was working on…but why are he and Silencitx disappointed?
In answer to a question on the last episode, yes, I did not make everything in the set, but I put it together. It’s actually just a corner of a room, formed by two walls with magnetic boards on them. I did not make everything in the set by hand, but I gathered the furniture and the accessories from various sources over the years. I suppose you could say that I made the balloon boat by sticking some mini balloons into the smokestack of a small toy tugboat.
I specialize in making customized dolls. For the dolls, I digitally sculpt the heads. Then I have them 3D printed in resin. Then I paint them, add hair, and put them on appropriate bodies. Ethancitx is an example of a doll head that I sculpted, had printed, painted, and added hair to. Silencitx is a commercially available doll head that I repainted, rehaired, and put on a different body.
I also make miniature books. Most of the books on the bookshelf are ones that I have made from scratch. I like to design humorous front and back covers, particularly for cookbooks and pulp fiction magazines. Many of the books have blank pages inside, but all the ones on the lowest shelf are part of a multibook series of original picture books. But that’s another story….
