Recently I got a 3″ tall, fully jointed, 3D printed version of Bb Silence, so naturally I had to show her to the Magister…. She’s supposed to represent Bb Silence at six months, for which she might be a little small, but that’s okay.
This BJD, made by Eduardo/artpractic from Ukraine, was sold through Etsy. It fortunately came strung with minuscule elastic, and it features three swappable heads [neutral, smiling closed mouth, and smiling open mouth] and three or four sets of swappable hands. It’s designed well enough and made with enough friction in the joints that it can stand unaided! I’m really impressed, especially because two of them cost $42.80 shipped. Even though she’s unpainted, she’s adorable and expressive and full of personality.
Picture 1:
Missy: “Look who it is!”
Bb SIlence: “Eeeeeee! Magister, Magister! Up up up! Up up up!”
The Magister: “What should I…?”
Missy: “Take her before she starts flying.”
Picture 2:
Bb Silence: “Magister… Magister…”
The Magister: “She appears to be hugging me with her entire body!”
Missy: “Snicker!”
Picture 3:
Bb Silence: “Zzz…”
The Magister: “Well, now I can’t move….”
