Takara disappoints me these days [yeah, old news, right]. I haven’t bought a new CG since I think the original release of Blue Lightning [when she was AFFORDABLE] State-side. Now that new CGs appear only in Japan in limited quantities, I don’t buy them at all, even if they DO come with small chests, a la Protect Gear Midori. [Yeah, I still want one for variety in cup sizes.] Then the upcoming release of Cutey Honey as Kisaragi appeared.

I plopped down a pre-order for her [secret group order discount, hooray!] because I appreciate the CG04 sculpt [recycled here] almost as much as I love CG01 [Blaze, Shadow, A.J., Destiny]. With a light, cheerful paintjob and a flippy short dress, she’s very charming.

But now I reconsider. Buzz over at MWD says that Louie from Triad Toys will debut new 1:6 femfigs early next year compatible with the CGs we know and love. Now I think I want to hold out for these figs. I have every confidence in the sculpting talent and the sewing talent behind Triad, and I’m sure that the bodies/figs, like the 1:6 fem clothing Triad currently sells, will be stupendous. It will also probably be easier to get than CGs. Hmm…
