I used my magnifying glass and my macro setting on my camera to take a portrait of Absinthe. This is how she sits on my desk, her head bent, her voluminous hair obscuring her closed, inward-turned face and shy, thoughtful smile. She turned out exactly the way I wanted her to [except for her damn plastic body].

Absinthe is such a pretty, delicate-looking doll. I can imagine how difficult it would be to capture her fair coloring in film. The shadows caused by her gorgeous hair and head tilt help bring out her features. Congratulations on capturing her in film and sharing online.

The dark green velvet gown (Antique Dreaming Momoko’s?) is a nice contrast to her near translucence.
