First picture shows how I mounted the front and back of her original bust piece over the internal “Obitsu shoulder bar linking the two shoulder sockets. White stuff is heat mold plastic to keep it in place. Experiment with action figure hands shows that the hands and wrist joints are too large.

Second picture shows addition of soft fats around torso using strips of felt and hot glue.

Third picture shows that I had to relocate the upper knee sockets. Initially they were more toward the back of the thigh, so I had to hack around inside the upper thigh to make more space. Heat mold plastic and hot glue are keeping the upper knee sockets in place.

Fourth picture shows improvised “fat caps” on lower thighs just above knee joints. Nevaeh is wearing pants all the time, so the result just has to look convincing under clothes. Cardboard flaps, shaped around the front and sides of each lower thigh and hot glued into place, form bases for heat mold plastic to stick to.

Back view of “fat caps” illustrates that they do not wrap all the way around the leg, allowing full range of motion in double-jointed bend.

And now for some posing shots! Nevaeh is wearing a sock sweater that I made, which, according to her, is extremely cool. She’s also wearing her original pants, even though they’re about a quarter century out of date. A pair of pink leggings keeps her mismatched legs from showing through the holes in the knees. Currently she does not have feet. I just wedged some mini shuz onto her ankles.

As you can see, she stands by herself. She can put her hands on her hips and easily touch her face and head. She can also sit cross-legged with crossed arms and a hunched torso–a very effective pouting position!

Next I have to deal with her unrealistic hair and her face. She needs better eyebrows at least and some color variation on her lips.
