I got my pink-headed Harumika today and promptly named her Bering Lusk. She’s quite imperious [hence the quote from David Bowie’s Within You, from Labyrinth], even with her limited articulation. However, she willingly donned an an42 creation made for a larger doll and allowed herself to be shot in the dying sun.

Sophie shows off Bering in her packaging.

Bering’s left hand is sculpted to rest on her left hip, but it also looks like a pointing, accusatory hand as well. Very haughty.

In black and white, you can admire the stark planes of her face.

The pink wig is wonderful…and her shoes are much better than the orangey goldy sandals that came with mine. (Waiting for the accessory packs in Target to go on clearance just for the shoes.)

I’ve noticed that my Harumika often seems to have a very concentrated gaze, even with no paint or sculptural details in her eyes, an I see that in some of your photos, too. Her great overall sculpt and form almost make up for the lack of articulation (and the presence of large holes in the backs of her limbs, heh)
