With many of our regulars engaged in other commitments, we had a small gathering this afternoon, just me, Lyrajean, vermont chick and a newcomer, Becca. In celebration of Halloween, attendees showed up with costumed dolls, copious pumpkins, a small-scale graveyard and articulated skeletons, so our dolls got festive.
Lyrajean’s dolls:
Hujoo Freya explored my 1:6 scale nighttime cemetery. Note to self: Bring a lighter background next time, as the dark colors in the night sky made almost all the dolls wash out.
Volks Chiyo posed with a Dollmore Mellow Doll kitty mask that Lyrajean bought at Dollism.
Volks Yo-SD Kira contemplated a DOA fundraiser cupcake, also a Dollism spoil.
Custom House Petite Ai Sariel.
Custom House Petite Ai Yuriel.
Alchemic Lab Unoa Sist hid behind another Dollmore kitty mask from Dollism.
vermont chick’s dolls:
Iplehouse
The nice thing about the skeletons, though, is their portability.
Victor Vincent shepherded the Iplehouse BIDs for trick-or-treating. From left, Naiais [bunny], Ringo girl [queen bee], Byuri [devil], Ringo boy [drone bee] and Erzulie [pumpkin]. vermont chick made all the clothes the bee costumes, the pumpkin costume and the Fairyland RealPuki costumes [further down] for her dolls in these pictures!
Fairyland RealPuki Soso [dressed as a devil, though this is difficult to see] ate all the treats, then decided to play a trick.
My dolls:
Becca’s dolls:
Spirit Doll Stayne [left] and Doll Zone Luke came attired as a mouse and a bunny respectively.
The meetup started off all right for Stayne with some glamorous closeups…
But then the discussion turned to the Spirit Doll "option parts," which made him feel self-conscious.
