Completed hair. Ponytail of actual hair from a Mattel Barbie jammed in the hole.
With hair glued down to make messy ponytail and excess neck Dremelled away. Excess plastic removed from armpits to allow arms to lie closer to ribcage. Ends of forearms near elbow joints also carved away to allow greater flexion at elbows.Need to paint bottom back of head, clean up paint around hairline, redo faceup, add loose hair on forehead, bulk up neck a bit, paint neck to match…Neck bulked up. Painted forearms, neck, and bust in DecoArt Americana acrylic paint Warm Beige to match. Added hands from a 10″ Disney Elite Princess Leia action figure. Temporarily dressed in fashion doll shirt and leggings from a Mattel Made to Move Fashionista.Chipped black nail polish has also been supplied. I think she’s annoyed because she’s dressed like a waiter. Also her shirt is untucked.Faceup in progress. I erased the inner edges of her eyebrows — a vast improvement — and made irises larger and darker. Pinpoint pupils never look good, so she, like all my DW dolls, has no pupils whatsoever.
