The Little Dorks in…The Playroom III!

The Little Dorks in…The Playroom III! published on 1 Comment on The Little Dorks in…The Playroom III!

After receiving gifts from Harry, the dorklets move to another room to play. This entry includes a lot of my 1:6 scale toys and accessories I’ve recently acquired. The new stuff is identified in the photos below.

My new photo setup has two lights along the back wall of the 1:6 scale set, on the same windowsill as my 1:3 scale dolls. Still not a source of even, bright, relatively shadowless light, but much better than before.

Chucky and Bride of Chucky by Takara and TOMY A.R.T.S. Yes, my dolls now have dolls of killer dolls. >:)
Western Shop Delusion of Her Sister (girl and food) by Takara and TOMY A.R.T.S. “Delusion of Her Sister” is the title according to the auction.
3 of 5 Naomi Watanabe gachapon. She’s a Japanese/Taiwanese comedian and actor. I know knothing about her except that she’s in her early 30s, and these slightly chibified figures of her make adorable fat dolls for dolls.

I got a lot of stuff from the Rement Merry Strawberry set, including the TV in this pic. I’m very pleased to now have a full set of strawberry-themed food and accessories, useful for many occasions.

J-Dream radio. I broke the umbrella, so I had to glue it in the up position.
World’s Smallest Cornhole by Super Impulse. The beanbags actually have beans in them!
2 of 5 Steam Planet clockwork robots by Takara and TOMY A.R.T.S. They’re made of soft plastic, but remarkably convincing as windup toys. I made new feets out of wire for the bird so it could stand on its own.

More Rement Merry Strawberry stuff! Perfect for a kid’s play teaset!
Boom box by J-Dream, from the same series as the little old-fashioned radio. So cute! Much smaller than the Acme Magnets one shown earlier.
The rest of the chibi Naomi Watanabes.

J-Dream microscope. It came with a separate slide and swiveling clamps. I glued that all in place.

Rement Merry Strawberry stuff.
A gift from Truffs! I was going to detail these with some paint, but forgot.
I had to take shots of these, just because they are the most entertaining things on my desk at the moment: mini portapotties by Epoch. [Some assembly required.] The doors function. The lid on the Western toilet flips up and down. Not shown is the Japanese squat toilet in the other booth, which is not articulated.
I’ve been wanting one of these for years, and words cannot express my delight. now that I own two!!
The packaging from the toilets, Chucky figurines, girl with food, and fruit salad miniatures. Fruit salad will show up in a later installment… Stay tuned for more closeups of the dorklets and their toys!
