The dorklets are actually playing with their toys…
There has been some confusion over who is who among the dorklets. They’re not all part of the same family; they’re just a bunch of kids who live in Hardship and hang out together.Theo Lightfoot is a nature lover who enjoys hiking, camping, bird watching, and stargazing. Harry gave her the camera thinking that she might take pictures of birds.Silence Saxon is an inveterate recorder and diarist who wants to write for a living. She is obsessed with history and accuracy.
There are a lot of shoe shots in this one because Silence, Meghna, and Ethan are all wearing Real Littles miniature shoes. They’re small plastic shoes that come on keychains in realistic shoeboxes. They’re not made specifically for dolls, but they do fit some 1:6 scale dolls with smaller feet. Silence is wearing rainbow tie-dye because rainbow tie-dye is, according to her, the height of cool!
This is Meghna Jones, oldest of the dorklets and Ethan’s older sister. The others are prepubescent, but she’s already hit puberty and had her growth spurt. She enjoys singing, dancing, and directing music videos.
Meghna is wearing running shoes ’cause she’s a runner.
This is Ethan Jones, Meghna’s younger brother. He likes robots, remote controlled things, dolls, and sewing/fiber arts [at least when it’s going well]. He and Silence drive each other up the wall because they have similar enough experiences to understand each other all too well, and they both feel threatened by that.
Ethan is wearing purple and blue hightops with glitter, leopard print, and wings because his aesthetic is MORE IS BETTER.
