I found out earlier this week that MGA Miniverse Cafe series 6 wave 2 includes sardines on avocado toast, with little plastic headless and tailless sardines in a plastic rectangular container shaped like a classic sardine tin. I like sardines, so I was enamored with the idea of acquiring 1:6 scale ones. The Miniverse prices deterred me, however, especially since I only had an idea for one related photostory. So I spent under $4.00 purchasing a papercraft printable can of sardines from Etsy, printing it, gluing it, and constructing it for this story.
To make Silencitx’s sardine sandwich, I used a Miniverse slice of bread. Then I sliced it in half vertically to make it look like two halves of a sandwich. To make the top and the bottom of the sandwich halves, I sliced each mostly in half horizontally, though leaving each half attached near the middle. Then I cut out some paper sardines from the printable that gave me the tin and pushed the paper sardines in between the cracks in the bread. As a result, I had a sandwich with sardines poking out that was thin enough for Silencitx to hold.
Note that Ethancitx comes from a vegetarian family, which probably informs his opinion of sardines. I myself rather like them.
Here’s a photo of the paper sardine tin and Silencitx’s sandwich, followed by the photostory.

Made me chuckle. Not everyone likes sardines to eat or to smell. I like them!
