This weekend, I also made some stands for my Dellamorte gravestone magnets. Isabel kneels beside them while showing off another creation from yesterday: yet another faux fur wig.Isabel’s slate blue wig is from the same 3×5″ swatch that also yielded Polly’s hair. Yes! Apparently a swatch of that size can make two size 4 wigs! Good to know. Anyway, this is what that slate blue fur looks like without the intervention of scissors or Mod Podge. I did comb some of the front hair over to the side and stitch it in place, mimicking a small ponytail or a barette, but that’s it. Isabel is kneeling in front of my Dellamorte tombstones, which I stuck in crudely sculpted bases of Aves Apoxie Sculpt, painted in turd brown raw umber. I initially used these for 1:6 scale tombstones, back in Me and My Muses. but, at about 3″ high apiece, they work much better for 1:12 scale.
