Labyrinth stuff go away!

Labyrinth stuff go away! published on No Comments on Labyrinth stuff go away!

I love Labyrinth. It has been and always will be my favorite movie. The time has come, however, to part with my collection of memorabilia and ephemera from the film. These books and articles have just been sitting on my shelf, collecting dust, for a decade or more. They deserve love and attention.

I’m not putting this lot on Ebay [yet] because I don’t want it to go to a speculator or reseller who doesn’t care about it. I’d prefer it to go to a good home whose owner dreams of friendly Muppets and David Bowie’s [crystal!!!] balls.

Who am I? I’m a writer and doll enthusiast, creator of the now-dormant Labyrinth fan site Jareth’s Realm. I’ve got over 10 years of positive feedback as a buyer and seller on Ebay under modernwizard. I’ve also got good reputations on Men With Dolls, Den of Angels and Etsy. Deal with confidence! You can reach me at labyrinthlot at gmail dot com.

So make me an offer. Bear in mind the following:

I am not breaking this lot. Don’t even ask.

The Goblins of Labyrinth retails for $32.50.

The novel adaptation has recently sold on Ebay for between $75.00 and $100.00.

The Japanese program is listing [but, frankly, not selling] on Ebay for between $8.00 and $15.00.

The comic book adaptations are listing [but also not selling :p ] on Ebay for at least $8.00 per volume.

I have no idea what the unbound Japanese program or the unbound German program are worth…but that Bowie/Connelly picture could easily fuel a thousand fanfics. :p~

The press kit is worth at least $45.00.

All of this is to say that offers under $150.00 will be thrown into the Bog of Eternal Stench.

On with the details! Here are the items:

The Goblins of Labyrinth by Brian Froud, 2006, 20th anniversary reissue, hardcover, excellent condition.

Novel adaptation by A.C.H. Smith, 1986, including 8pp. of color stills, very good condition. Check out that awesome smirky illustration of Jareth on the cover!

Bound Japanese program from unknown source, 28pp. of text, color and black and white photos, very good condition — interior scans of this copy
here.

Marvel comic book adaptation 3 separate volumes, bagged and boarded, very good condition.

Unbound Japanese article/program from unknown magazine, 10pp. of text and color photos, good condition — 2 sample pages shown in photo.

Unbound German article from unknown magazine, December, 1986, 4pp. of text and rare color photos, good condition — 2 sample pages shown in photo. You need that photo of David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly.

Columbia Tristar press kit in original folder including black and white lobby cards [all but the one of Jareth coming in the window — I’m keeping that!], good condition.
