My latest round of 3″ Titans — the Master x3, the Stylist, and an extra — arrived today. HELP HELP! They are too adorable for words.
This caricature is SPOT-ON. Sometimes Titan 3″ don’t look like shit, but it helps that they’re working from such distinctive source material in this case. Titan hit all the key features here, from the widow’s peak, to the left eyebrow higher than the right, to the deep-set, heavy-lidded eyes, to that MAGISTERIAL nose [a little soft in the sculpt, but recognizable], the drooping lips, and the pointy goatee. They even got the wavy hair. Too bad the skintone is SHIT.L to R: The Master from Doctor Who as played by Roger Delgado, Marie Laveau from American Horror Story as played by Angela Bassett, Janine Melnitz from Ghostbusters as played by Annie Potts. The Master is going to be…uh…the Master. Marie Laveau was going to be a background character, but then I realized that she had a very Stylist expression [commanding and unimpressed] and features [angular with sharp cheekbone]s. Janine I got just because I like her glasses on a chain. Unfortunately mine’s are wonky.The Masters each came with their own TCE accessory. Immediately the following drama ensued:
The Master: “I have a TCE, and you will obey me!” // The Stylist: “Uh huh. So that’s how you want to play this?”The Stylist: “Well, I have **two** TCEs. What’ll you do now, huh?”The Master: “…”The Master: “I surrender.” // The Stylist: “Best idea you’ve had yet, doofus.”
